Pattern Description:
I love creating any project with the loop stitch. The way that this pattern incorporates this stitch you will end up with a rug that is uniquely different on each side.
This rug is made using 2 strands of yarn together to give it extra thickness as well as making the loops a little "loopier."
Not only does this make a great throw rug, but I soon discovered that it became one of my cats' favorite places to lay (and fight over!).
Gauge:
With 2 strands of yarn: 8 single crochet rows X 8 single crochet = 4 inches square.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
32 inches wide X 51 inches long
Materials:
I used Red Heart Comfort Worsted Weight yarn (16 oz/454g _ 867yds/792m per ball)
- Color 1: #3135/Wine (about 1200 yds)
-Color 2: #2167/Tan (about 550 yds)
-Color 3: #3179/Sage (about 550 yds)
-Color 4: #4072/Earth Print (about 1600yds)
